19/02/2010 3rd day in Thailand was to be a day that can be never forgotten. We were in for a motor boat ride in the famous canals with shops floating on either side. I have never seen such a market before and was planning to take the best out of it.The market opens at 7.30 in the morning and surprisingly, closes at exactly one o`clock in the afternoon. They run it longer on Saturdays it seems and we had to hurry up because we were in for a weekday ride. It is a paradise of souvenirs and land of tourists. The whole world comes under one roof gathered on either side of the canal watching the market float by. You can enjoy the shopping from the banks to cool your mind or so many things to see to soothe your eyes or else get something for your stomachs. It has everything under the roof but with varying prices depending on the country they are from. We took a motor boat for 500 Bhats for one...
