I Stopped At...

2014/08/10 Furano is a famous area for its beautiful flower fields in the summer. Hokkaido it self is famous for the yards and yards of blue lavender fields across the country. We decided to make a stop at one of the most famous lavender farms in Hokkaido, Farm Tomita. There was not much to say about it but a lot to see. 2017/04/07 It is the Sakura season again.  After a not-so-cold-winter, finally the Sakura had decided to bloom with the best timing. As the weather suddenly became cold, the peak was little delayed to the mid week. The peak was actually predicted to be  over the weekend of 1st and 2nd April. The path to walk was marked this year, so there was no traffic. It was less crowded compared to the previous years.  It is my favorite spot around Tokyo, the Meguro river.  The captions may be similar to the ones of the previous years. As usual, Sakura was in full bloom. Pink everywhere! Japan like, this is..! The Meguro river was flowing serenely under the Sakura tunnel. Loved it!! 2016/05/02 The spring in Japan is one of the most beautiful seasons in the world. 2016/04/30 It is the famous HitachiKaihin Park in Ibaraki again. Japanese Domestic Tour companies arrange your packages to this park in spring and we chose one of them.        It is famous for its beautiful flowers in all seasons.  This is the spring and Tulip is in  its peak. 2016/04/30 When it is said Nemophilia in Japan , nothing comes to mind other than the famous HitachiKaihin Park in Ibaraki. THey have the largest meadow of nemophilia around Kanto.  Japanese Domestic Tour companies arrange your packages to this park in spring and we chose one of them. So today i post about my Nemophilia tour. Nemophilia is spread on a huge area on hill slopes in HitachiKaihin Park. The hill takes us to the top to view the sea. We visited in the latter part of the nemophilia season so now we can see green spots here and there. Thousands of visitors come over to the park to see the baby blue meadows as you can see for your self. Nemophilia is of a very beautiful baby blue color, little grassy plant. 2016/04/30 This time it was the Ashikaga Flower Park in Golden Week.  Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi has been nominated as one of the best places to visit by CNN in 2014.  http://edition.cnn.com/2013/12/25/travel/cnn-travel-2014-wish-list/ Ashikaga Flower Park is famous for its beautiful Wisteria Flower season which is April and May.  It mainly has Wisteria in different colors. Purple Wisteria White Wisteria Light Purple Wisteria Pale red Wisteria Pale red Wisteria has made a beautiful roof over the head at the Flower Stage. People sit under the cool flower ceiling while beautiful music can be heard over the speakers.  White Wisteria is yet to bloom. It is expected to be a beautiful white ceiling.
