Wisteria 2016 - Tochigi

This time it was the Ashikaga Flower Park in Golden Week. 



Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi has been nominated as one of the best places to visit by CNN in 2014.

Ashikaga Flower Park is famous for its beautiful Wisteria Flower season which is April and May. 
It mainly has Wisteria in different colors.

  • Purple Wisteria






  • White Wisteria









  • Light Purple Wisteria







  • Pale red Wisteria

Pale red Wisteria has made a beautiful roof over the head at the Flower Stage. People sit under the cool flower ceiling while beautiful music can be heard over the speakers. 



White Wisteria is yet to bloom. It is expected to be a beautiful white ceiling.

15/05/2010 It was after spending the evening at Thai Festival 2010 in Yoyogi,Shibuya. The dinner was decided on "Nabe" at a shibuya chain restaurant of Japanese hot pot. I have always loved nabe. I have had shabu shabu hotpot, sukiyaki hotpot and seafood hotpot at Japanese houses and this was the first time I am having it at a restaurant. So I thought of sharing some moments of the supreme happiness of eating Nabe - the Japanese hotpot. Beef, eggs and the vegetables  The whole table of ingredients for the Nabe in one shot Shabu shabu and sukiyaki on one hotplate finally you dip the boiled slice of meat in the "tare" and eat. This chain restaurant is in Shibuya and limitless "tabehoudai" for less than 2000yen. Good service and loved the meat.   All Rights Reserved.

Nishizawa Gorge Waterfalls - Yamanashi

2016/11/03 Nishizawa Gorge is a hiking course with several beautiful waterfalls created when Arakawa River flow towards the city. This post is about the several waterfall we came across. while hiking the trails along the river. all of them were captured through my phone and I apologize for the low quality. Nishizawa Gorge - Yamanashi

2016/11/03     "The dullness around fails to hide its Full Glory ." Nishizawa Gorge is located in the very west of Yamanashi, close to the boundaries of Saitama and Nagano. Arakawa River flows through Chichibu mountains creating the Nishizawa Gorge. It is a hiking course of 4 hour walking along the river through muddy trails in the woods watching the river falling , flowing and gushing towards the city. Along the way we come across bridges and waterfalls. Too bad I could not capture any of the bridges but managed to capture the waterfalls which will be posted under a different post. .   It was November and the mid Autumn.  The water level was low and bearably cold.
