Snow in Kanagawa 2012

Though it`s early, snow was there for the second time this year. We are more than overjoyed to see this beautiful snowy night today.. Too bad, my window view is covered with a little yard of trees so sunlight or even normal street light does not reach my windows. So my snowy view can barely be captured from my poor little camera..


Why  is this particular snowing important to me...??
 you may wonder. :)

That is because this would be my final snowing in Kanagawa.
This would be the last snowing I may see from my hostel windows..

Enjoy.. Hopefully there would be more snow tomorrow and a better view.

15/05/2010 It was after spending the evening at Thai Festival 2010 in Yoyogi,Shibuya. The dinner was decided on "Nabe" at a shibuya chain restaurant of Japanese hot pot. I have always loved nabe. I have had shabu shabu hotpot, sukiyaki hotpot and seafood hotpot at Japanese houses and this was the first time I am having it at a restaurant. So I thought of sharing some moments of the supreme happiness of eating Nabe - the Japanese hotpot. Beef, eggs and the vegetables  The whole table of ingredients for the Nabe in one shot Shabu shabu and sukiyaki on one hotplate finally you dip the boiled slice of meat in the "tare" and eat. Nishizawa Gorge Waterfalls - Yamanashi

2016/11/03 Nishizawa Gorge is a hiking course with several beautiful waterfalls created when Arakawa River flow towards the city. This post is about the several waterfall we came across. while hiking the trails along the river. all of them were captured through my phone and I apologize for the low quality. Nishizawa Gorge - Yamanashi

2016/11/03     "The dullness around fails to hide its Full Glory ." Nishizawa Gorge is located in the very west of Yamanashi, close to the boundaries of Saitama and Nagano. Arakawa River flows through Chichibu mountains creating the Nishizawa Gorge. It is a hiking course of 4 hour walking along the river through muddy trails in the woods watching the river falling , flowing and gushing towards the city. Along the way we come across bridges and waterfalls. Too bad I could not capture any of the bridges but managed to capture the waterfalls which will be posted under a different post. .   It was November and the mid Autumn.  The water level was low and bearably cold. Here is Arakawa river flowing down the rocky steps through the stones. We walk up the river trail while the river flows in the opposite direction. The trails are narrow, and muddy at some parts.
