22/12/2009 図1　Shiodome Blue Ocean Shiodome Blue Ocean (図1) is a 15 minute illumination event of a blue ocean with snow and soap bubbles, which comes alive in the front area of Caretta. Various movements of laser rays create floating green clouds  , the sunrise  and a lot more. Mainly the colour is blue as the name indicates , but it varies in to pink, red, green, white creating a beautiful sea world. In the little hut at the middle,(which really is meant to be a coral Christmas tree,) is a fortune telling pearl which tells how ur life partner and you will be living ever after. The destiny changes according to the color you get when you touch the pearl or so it says. 図2　Hashire!! Fantasia go Above are the illumination in remind of the Shinbashi staion. 22/12/2009 This year a sudden change in plans, resulted in a cold night out to Tokyo to enjoy the Christmas Illuminations of the year 2009. Four of us ( Two boys and two girls -  all Thai) set out early at 4.30  in the evening toShinjuku. Toeido line took us to Roppongi - beautiful luxurious night land of Tokyo. "MIDTOWN CHRISTMAS" was the  Special Christmas illumination event going on in Roppongi in this winter. Galleria is a luxurious shopping mall just in front of the  Roppongi station. All the illumination and events are in an around this big shopping plaza. Welcome Chandelier Welcome Chandelier(図１) is made of  Japanese traditional paper called "washi" and is at  the entrance of the Gallaria shopping mall. This is lightened up twice and hour an one lightening up  is carried on for 15 minutes. This is so large that it hangs down from the top floor towards three floors below. This is lightened up in various colors as shown above for 15 long minutes.
